Connect the MCP

The tabs below show how to connect Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, and other MCP-compatible tools. New podcast transcripts are added automatically as episodes are published. If your tool is not listed, open the Other tab.

Claude and Claude Desktop

  1. In Claude or Claude Desktop, add a custom MCP connector in Settings -> Connectors -> Add custom connector.

  2. Paste this remote MCP URL.

    https://mcp.lennysdata.com/mcp

  3. Finish sign-in when Claude redirects you back to Lenny's Data.

What access you get

  • Free subscribers can connect to the starter MCP with 10 newsletter posts and 50 podcast episodes.
  • Paid subscribers can connect to the full MCP with 353 newsletter posts and 297 podcast transcripts.
  • New podcast transcripts are added automatically as episodes are published.
  • The same MCP URL is used for both tiers. Your sign-in determines which dataset your client can read.
